Our first out unit is 45-62. 45-62 is a 1991 American LaFrance pumper. It has a 2000 gallon per minute pump, 750 gallon tank, 1000 feet of LDH (5"), all the tools needed for being first on scene, and the ability to carry up to seven firefighters - three up front and four in the back. 62 was received just in time for our "A Century of Dedicated Service" celebration in May of 1992.
45-69 is a 1987 Hahn Quint. It has a 2000 GPM pump, 500 gallon tank, 1000 feet of LDH, and a 75 foot aerial ladder. Besides responding to calls in our first due area, 69 is on dual alert with some of our mutual aid departments as the closest truck. We can bring four firefighters on 69.
45-61 is a 2001 American LaFrance, it has a Hale 2250gpm Pump, 800 gallon tank, and Carries 1000' of 5" hose. 61 also has a 10kw hydraulic generator, a light tower with 6000 watts of lighting and and elctric ladder rack. 61 handles all highway emergencies, water supply at fires, and is a fill site engine for the North County Tanker Task Force. Engine 61 has seating for 8 firefighters
Our chief's vehicle is a 2000 Ford Expedition. It serves as the command vechile for the chief. It is equipped with a command console with mulitple radios, the thermal camera monitor, and other command needs.
Our utility vehicle is a 1992 GMC Suburban 4x4. 86 seats up to eight people. It is primarily used for department errands and transporting members to the fire scene.
Lulabelle was CFD's first mechanized engine. She's a 1926 American LaFrance pumper. Lulabelle is the pride and joy of the Clinton Fire Department. We proudly put her on display year after year at fire shows and parades, usually coming home with a trophy. She was refurbished in the late 1980's to her current state.
